Slightly Off-Center Players

The Center Theatre's resident community theatre group, The Slightly Off-Center Players, began in 2006 with the staging of “Murder Me Always”, written by Lee Mueller and directed by Rhonda Kirkpatrick.  Since then the Players have staged several plays per year and have expanded to a yearly offering of a children’s production in late Winter, a straight play and a musical theatre show as well as a Holiday show in December.  In addition, the Players have begun a “Radio Show” series: monthly selections of old-time radio broadcasts, read live on stage. Some of SOCP's previous shows include:

  • A Christmas Carol
  • Alice in Wonderland, Jr
  • Miracle on 34th Street
  • Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
  • Sylvia
  • Little Shop of Horrors
  • Moonlight and Magnolias
  • Always...Patsy Cline
