Kris Kringle The Musical  lights up the stage in a new Christmas musical filled with memorable characters, a fantastic score, and unforgettable songs, “Unwrap The Christmas Magic,” “My North Star,” Green Suede Shoes,” “Santa’s Rulebook,” and “Something Wonderful in You,” destined to become holiday classics.

This captivating new holiday musical reveals the untold story of young Kris Kringle. Discover what happens when an evil toy company CEO crosses paths with a starry-eyed, jobless toymaker whose family name carries a curse with the power to destroy Christmas. From the top of the world in the North Pole, Kris Kringle teams up with Santa and Mrs. Claus, the beautiful Evelyn Noel, a band of hilarious Apprentices and Elves, and magical Toys to remind us what Christmas is really all about: hope, family, and forgiveness.

We are looking for adult actors of all ages and youth 4th grade through high school to play the following roles:

EVELYN NOËL, 20’s, the head of the Apprentices’ Boot Camp
MRS. CLAUS, Santa’s wife
GRANDMA KRINGLE, Kris’s grandmother
ROY G. REEDY, mogul of an evil toy empire
MS. HORN, 30’s, Reedy’s lawyer
ELMER, 30’s, Elvis-wannabe head of the Elves’ Workshop
SKY, 20’s, Kris’s best friend and an Apprentice at the North Pole
TINSELLE, 20’s, another of Kris’s North Pole buddies and an Apprentice
GARLAND, 20’s, another of Kris’s North Pole buddies and an Apprentice
RORY, a toy snow leopard cub (can be a puppet)
HOLLY, a toy polar bear (can be a puppet)
JOLLY, a toy angel polar bear (can be a puppet)
ENSEMBLE – All of the below can play multiple characters:

Production Schedule

  • Auditions: Saturday 17th and 18th, 3:30 to 5pm at the Center Theatre. No preparation or previous experience required.

  • Rehearsals begin on or about Monday, Septemebr 26th

  • Theatrical rehearsals will be in the later weekday afternoons and weekends. Additional vocal rehearsals may also be scheduled. All scheduling will be based on actor availability.

  • Tech week: Evenings of December 4th through the 8th 

  • Opening Night: Friday, December 9th at 7pm

  • Additional performances:

    • Saturday, December 10th at 2pm and 7pm​

    • Friday, December 16th at 7pm

    • Saturday, December 17th at 2pm and 7pm

  • School performances are possible the week of December 12th.​
