Children's Summer Drama Camps

In 1999 the Center Theatre began our first program - our Children's Summer Drama Camp. The Center Theatre building wasn't open, that wouldn't happen until 2006. But our Drama Camps have always been our most important program and we're proud that they've grown over time. From a single two-week camp in 1999 we were able to off six two-week camps in 2025.

Unfortunately, due to cuts in the Summer Vista Program, we can only accept a maximum of 16 kids per session.

At all our camps, the kids work together on a play or performance while learning about acting, props, costumes, set construction, and also having a lot of fun! Camps meet weekdays from 8am to 2pm.

Thanks to generous donors, sponsors, and registrants, we're able to offer camps on a pay-what-you-can basis. We ask for between $50 and $500 for the full two-week camp. But we will happily accept less (or more!) if that's what you can pay. We are always accepting donations to support our educational programming.
