We're the place for your next party! You can watch movies, be part of a murder mystery party, play video games, or celebrate a special event. Most rentals are two hours long, but you can get schedule extra time if it's available. It's the same price to rent our small theater (seats 37) or our large theater (seats 250), just depends on how big the party is and what's available.  Our concession stand will be open, but you can also bring you own snacks. Just no birthday candles or barbeque grills please! We can also run a tab if you want everyone at your party to get a free popcorn, soda or both!

Most two-hour rentals are $85, with each extra hour adding $50. Scheduling around our other events can get a bit tricky, so if you're interested in renting the Theatre give us a call at (207)564-8943 or email info@centertheatre.org and we'll get right to work making your event a reality!

Movie Party
You can watch a first-run movie that's currently showing at the Theatre, bring your own favorite on DVD or Blu-Ray, or stream something that you have access to online.  Our partners, The Faith Channel, also have an extensive catalogue of faith-based films you can choose from as well. It's the best birthday party, graduation gift, or fun night out you've ever had!

Video Game Party
If your gaming system has an HMDI connection, then we can hook it up to our projector and you can play on the big screen with movie theater sound!

Mini-Murder-Mystery

The Center Theatre has hosted murder mystery parties for 30+ people for years, now it’s time for you and 7 friends to enjoy a Mini Murder Mystery Party! Reserve a date and time, choose one of the 4 parties below, and get your gang together. The Center Theatre will send you character information and pre-game tasks for you to distribute to your group. Then just arrive in costume and we’ll do the rest!
 

We’ll have our small theater decorated for your party, with themed snacks on hand. You also get free popcorn and soft drinks at concessions. Our cash bar will also be open for party-goers. We’ll pop in to give you clues and move the party along so that at the end of 2 hours you know who lives, who dies, and whodunit!

Each mini murder-mystery is designed for 8 people, but the party can still go on if you have some no-shows. The cost to reserve a mini-murder-mystery is $200. Call the Center Theatre at (207)564-8943 or email info@centertheatre.org to reserve your spot!
