A Christmas Carol

Experience the joy of the holidays as the Slightly Off-Center Players present this new adaptation of Dickens' classic story of redemption and the Christmas spirit(s).

Auditions for our 2025 production of  A Christmas Carol will be held at the Center Theatre on Sunday, September 21st from 3pm to 5pm and Monday, September 22nd from 6pm to 8pm. If you are interested in participating on stage or behind the scenes, but can't come to auditions, please email info@centertheatre.org and we will try to make other arrangements.

No preparation or prior experience is necessary to audition. We are auditioning for all roles in Christmas Carol and seeking child, teen, and adult actors, though roles for younger actors are limited. We will have excerpts of the script for you to read on stage with others attending the auditions. We'll also take your picture and have you fill out an audition sheet so we have your contact and scheduling information.

Most rehearsals will be scheduled based on actor availability.  Tech rehearsals will take place the week prior to opening night and there will be a dress rehearsal the Thursday before opening night. While there is some flexibility on attendance at tech rehearsals, your attendance is expected at the dress rehearsal and all performances. We may have the opportunity to perform for area schools one day during the week of December 15th, but that won't be determined until school starts.
