25 Years of Children's Summer Drama Camps

24 years ago, under the guidance of Jayne Lello, the Center Theatre began our first program - our Children's Summer Drama Camp.  The Center Theatre building wasn't open, that wouldn't happen for 7 more years. But our Drama Camps have always been our most important program and we're proud that they've continued and grown over time. From one two-week camp in 1999 to 2023 when we're offering six sessions of camp, two in the Dover area, one in Monson, one in Dexter, one in Milo, and our newest camp in Greenville! Our camps are open to kids 6 and up we can accept up to 25 kids per session.

At all our camps, the kids will work together on a play or performance while learning about acting, props, costumes, set construction, and also having a lot of fun!  Camps meet weekdays from 8am to 2pm.

Thanks to generous donors, sponsors, and registrants, we're able to offer different options so you can pay what you're able. You can pay between $50 and $500 for the full two-week camp.  We are still accepting donations to support the 2023 summer camp season. If you are able, please donate here.

June 26th through the July 7th  (no camp on the 4th of July)
