Auditions for Honk Jr. the Muscial

With a score by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Mary Poppins), Honk! JR. is a heartwarming celebration of being different that is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit, unique charm and memorable score. Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother's protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out being different is not a bad thing to be.

Production Schedule

Auditions: Saturday Feb 11th 1pm to 4pm, and Monday Feb 13th, 5pm to 7pm at the Central Hall Commons. No preparation or previous experience required.
Vocal rehearsals only in the month of March
Theatrical rehearsals will begin in April and will be in the later weekday afternoons and weekends. Additional vocal rehearsals may also be scheduled. All scheduling will be based on actor availability.
Tech week: Evenings the week of May 8th through the 11th
Opening Night: Friday, May 12th 7pm
Additional performances:
- Saturday, May 13th at 2pm and 7pm
- Friday, May 19th at 7pm
- Saturday, May 20th at 2pm and 7pm
School performances are possible the week of May 15th.
